Vineyard: Vineyards from the region of Patras. Late of September.
Vinification: Classic red vinification of the overripe grapes. Destemming of the grapes and the must stays in contact with the skins until the end of the fermentation.
The character: Red / brown color. Aromas of dried plum and nuts. Sweet warm in the mouth.
Nama is a sweet red wine that is usually used in Greek Orthodox Churches in Holy Communion. It is similar to Mavrodaphne, with the difference that it is sweeter and it contains less alcohol.
