Our philosophy has been and remains consistent, focused on total quality management, innovation, sustainable development, and the high organoleptic properties of our products. We operate on a strong scientific base, every step of our production and are we base on the principles of autonomy, novelty, and scientific research. This philosophy has an excellent result, which can be summarized in three words:superior quality, taste, and novelty. It is the one who has established our presence in more than 43 countries in the world. Our vision is to improve people’s lives through healthy and sustainable foods that contribute to a lifestyle moving in harmony and balance with nature. Our mission is to offer quality, extra virgin olive oil and other natural, high nutritional value foods, which are produced using sustainable practices, from the field to the shelf.

Thanks to our vertical integration-related approach, we monitor every stage of production. Starting from our two groups of producers, the olive trees grow using innovative protocols for sustainable development.

Olives are harvested at the right time and delivered at the olive-oil press under conditions for strict transparency and hygiene. They undergo cold pressing within a few hours of harvest, to offer us the best possible extra virgin olive oil.

Its traceability, taste, and aroma are strictly monitored up to the point of bottling, ensuring that only the award-winning quality Terra Creta extra virgin olive oil reaches the consumer. Our inspiration consists in the balance that a correct and healthy diet brings to our lives, in harmony with nature. We seek for the whole production process to be performed using sustainable practices, which are constantly certified and improved.

In a constantly changing world, climate change is the greatest challenge of our time and has to do with us all. We feel the responsibility and adopt measures to reduce its effects, which are certified and constantly improved, promoting good practice in the olive sector, thereby contributing, as far as possible, to a positive change toward this direction. We took action by working outside the box and reducing the emission of gaseous air pollutants. To begin with, we measured the climate footprint (CO2) of two of our products and move further. Within our approach to sustainable production, we have developed initiatives in four stages: in the field • in the olive oil mill • in standardization • on the shelf. For each of these stages, we create a positive impact and contribute to achieving specific sustainable development goals. Its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and low content of saturated and polyunsaturated fats, combined with its high vitamin E content and other antioxidants, make it an excellent remedy for treating and preventing many diseases. That is why, in recent years, it has been characterized as a “functional food”.  Extra virgin olive oil is one of the main components of the Mediterranean diet. But what exactly is the Mediterranean diet? Simply put, the Mediterranean diet, which has its roots in the Cretan diet of the 1960s, is a healthy diet that contains common staple foods consumed by people living in the countries around the Mediterranean Sea. It is the healthiest diet in the world!

In 2020, the Mediterranean diet was named the healthiest diet in the world for the third year in a row by U.S. News & World Report. An essential component of this diet is extra virgin olive oil, which contains high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidant phytochemicals: polyphenols, phytosterols, and vitamin E. These are the compounds that are believed to be responsible for many of the health benefits offered to those who adopt this diet.
