A red wine made from grapes from the foothills of the north facing slopes of mountains on central Crete. A color of ripe cherries; an aroma reminiscent of sweet prunes and plump raisins; medium bodied thanks to its freshness; the palate releases soft tannins with a strong sense of berries; a pleasantly lingering after-taste. Grilled meats; and pasta with red sauce. Best served 15°-18°.
