Description

Landides Anosis” is the Greek word for buoyancy. In science, buoyancy is an upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of an immersed object. This principle was first stated be Archimedes of Syracuse. His insight led to the solution of a problem posed by “Hiero of Syracuse”, on how to assess the purity of an irregular golden votive crown; he had given his goldsmith the pure gold to be used, & correctly suspected he had been cheated by the goldsmith removing gold & adding the same weight of silver. “Anosis” is a dry white wine of Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I.) of Peloponnese, made from 100% Moschofilero grapes, an indigenous Greek grape variety. It is a white wine with exceptional freshness & lively acidity. Citrus fruits & lemon flowers on the nose, with a crisp, clean finish.
