It all started in 1932 when brothers Chrysostomos and Costas Mitsides set in operation a traditional flourmill in the heart of Nicosia. Further to the traditional pasta and flour products the Mitsides range also includes pasta sauces, tomato products, bulgur, frozen ravioli etc. Apart from retail products, the company also imports and distributes a wide range of raw materials for confectioneries, bakeries and other food industries. Having secured its dominance in the Cyprus market, Mitsides has made a clear strategic decision to grow by expanding abroad, both through the increase of exports and through expanding its productive operations abroad. Mitsides flour and pasta are the only Cypriot branded flour and pasta products to be sold abroad.
