Description

A bright, uplifting wine, with delicate fruit aromas which follow through to a well-balanced palate with a pleasantly crisp finish. The marriage of the cosmopolitan and fragrant Sauvignon Blanc with the Greek Assyrtiko produces a wine with a powerful aroma redolent of exotic fruit, peach and citrus. Rich, cool and beautifully balanced.

Ktima Biblia Chora lies on the barren slopes of Mt.Pangeon, at Kokkinochori near Kavala, in Greece.

In 1988, two of the best white wine makers in Greece, Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Vangelis Gerovassiliou combined their experience to set up a privately owned organic vineyard and now produce some of the finest wines from the region from estates now reaching over 350 acres.

The philosophy of the winemaking focuses on the production of high quality wine that is bound by the ecosystem of mount Pangeon and expresses the uniqueness of the natural surroundings.

To achieve this goal, the cultivation and vinification take place under special conditions, using not only knowledge and experience, but also by merging tradition with technology.
