Harlaftis Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl is produced from grapes which are harvested the moment they have reached their optimum ripening point in terms of sugars and tannins.
After classic red vinification in 50-hectoliter stainless steel fermenters, the wine is left to age in 225-liter French oak barrels for 12 months, followed by a further 12 months in the bottle. The wine impresses with its rich, deep crimson colour and nose of plum, black pepper, roasted almond and vanilla. Its taste is mature, round and rich in the mouth, with a long-lasting aftertaste.
Harlaftis Estate was founded in 1935 and starts taking hold by the mid-1940s. In the late 1980s began the development of the company, holding up to today, while at about the same period, in 1997, the company winery was established in Nemea. In 2003, the winery was fully equipped with modern technology. The 60 acre Nemea privately owned vineyard is located in Achladia and is being, organically, cultivated. Harlaftis Estate was and, still, remains a family business with a long time experience on wine making. The company aims, since the beginning, to the production of high quality wines, remaining always a small to medium-sized enterprise so that everything is, completely, controlled: from the cultivation, vinification and storage of products, to their distribution.
